This was created during a heavy time in my life, my relationship was suffering, I hated my job as a respiratory therapist, it was during Covid. I was even contemplating suicide. Rather than distracting myself or trying to feel better, I decided to fully embrace my emotions and thoughts, digging deep into the shadows. From my own darkness, this creation emerged. For me, facing and embracing what I resisted was the key. Allowing every part of who I am to be validated, to have a voice. If we can tap into the creative field in times of heaviness, in times of sadness and darkness, so much beauty can emerge. Allow the raw energy of your emotions to fuel your creative desires.
