Welcome to the Spiritual Warrior Shamanic Sound Healing Podcast.  I’m Rasa Priya.  In this episode I share about how to integrate our shadows into our daily lives, how to choose rather than react.  What do I mean by shadow?  Shadows are the unseen patterns and beliefs that create mental and emotional blocks, they keep us from authentic expression and interfere with our personal relationships.  Shadows are often created from childhood wounding, trauma and events where we feel powerless.  
Abandonment, loneliness, poor self esteem, jealousy, anger, resentment are some of the feelings associated.  When we are triggered and experience these feelings over and over, we develop patterns of behavior as defense mechanisms.  Over time, we may even forget the original cause of our present emotions and feelings.  

There are many ways to heal these patterns and take back our ability to choose rather than respond.  The first step is authenticity.  Really get to know yourself.  Go beyond the ideas of good and bad and right or wrong, go beyond any type of self judgement.  Who are you?  What do you like?  What do you dislike?  Just really sit with yourself and be with yourself, and find out in truth, who you are.  Don’t hide from yourself. 

As you listen to this shamanic sound journey, sit back and close your eyes.  Go beyond any self judgement and just really sit and be, breathe.  Identify a pattern of your own behavior that you perceive interferes with what you want, that interferes with your personal relationships.  Focus on the feelings associated with that experience and simply allow whatever thoughts and feelings that want to come and go.  Become the observer.
